SCALE OLYMPICS WORKSHOPS

 

Do you have questions about the new harmonization lead sheet option?  Are you unsure of how to teach it to your students?  How do you prepare students to enter all eight events?  Are you curious about the judging guidelines for each event?  Are you new to OMTA and simply need help demystifying the handbook?  If you want answers to these – or other – questions, sign up for these two workshops!  They are FREE for OMTA members.  Enrollment is limited to 24 participants.  You must register to participate.

Enter through the double red doors.  There is an elevator.  Free parking is available in the lots next to and across from the theatre.  You may also park on the street.

 

Workshop #1 – Understanding Scale Olympics

Cynthia Adams will answer any and all questions you have about this huge event.  Joining her will be other Scale Olympics veteran teachers, who will share their tips on preparing students to enter one or all eight events.  This workshop will be held in the Medium Rehearsal Room.  To learn more about Cynthia visit www.CynthiaAdamsPianoStudio.com.

Workshop #2 – Understanding the New Harmonization Lead Sheet Option

Bradley Sowash will walk you through the fundamental aspects of the New Harmonization Lead Sheet Option, and will offer a practical approach to teaching the chord symbols, key signatures and accompaniment styles.  This workshop will be held in the Keyboard Studio and will be hands on for all participants.  To learn more about Bradley visit www.BradleySowash.com.

YOU MUST REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE.

The workshops will be held concurrently and are being offered twice.  You may attend one or both.  If you want to attend both, then you need to register for both.  For example, register for the 9:00am Workshop #1 AND the 10:45am Workshop #2.
