11.29Pianorama 2011
Pianorama is a multi-piano ensemble event held every two years. Proceeds benefit the Central East District OhioMTA Summer Scholarship Fund and other student activities. Students learn high quality duet literature and gain valuable audition, rehearsal, and concert experience.
Elementary through advanced students perform duets in groups conducted by an OhioMTA teacher/conductor. Groups are determined by playing level. Students must register with a partner. They will pass auditions as partners and not as individuals.

Registration Fee: $30.00 per student for members
$60.00 per student for non-members
Registration Deadline: Saturday, September 17, 2011
Auditions: Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Graves. Some auditions will be held on digital pianos. Auditions are in groups of 10 or less (5 partnerships).
Special Performance Auditions: Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Graves Recital Hall. A few small ensemble groups will be featured between performances of the large ensembles at the Pianorama concerts. These performers must also participate in a larger ensemble.
Rehearsal dates and times: Saturdays, October 22 and 29, 2011 at Graves. Rehearsal schedule is below:

Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Gahanna Middle School West. 25 minute dress rehearsals will be morning or early afternoon.
Concert Dates and Times: Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Concerts are free and open to the public.
Concert Location: Gahanna Middle School West, 350 Stygler Road,Gahanna, 43230.

Participation earns recertification credit.
